Who Benefits from Structured Literacy? ALL children benefit from Structured Literacy no matter what age!

Why Structured Literacy?

Structured Literacy is an evidence-based approach that explicitly teaches the foundations of reading and writing. It benefits all students, particularly those who struggle with literacy, by providing systematic, sequential, and cumulative instruction. This method is highly effective for children with dyslexia and other neuro-diverse learning needs because it helps them develop decoding, spelling, and comprehension skills in a structured manner.

We will be forever grateful to Margot

We came to Margot from a place of struggle, where literature felt like torture and family relationships were worn and deflated.  But from the moment I picked Bree up after her first lesson with Margot, I knew something extraordinary had happened.  The missing piece of our puzzle had been found.  She beamed with a smile I hadn’t seen in so long, and her eyes were sparkling.

Margot is one of those rare and extraordinary people who truly changes lives.  As a lifelong lover of literature, it broke my heart to see my daughter so distressed by books, overwhelmed by anxiety and frustration.  Yet, through Margot’s kindness, patience, and unwavering support, Bree’s journey has transformed into one of joy and confidence.

Without pressure or stress, she has made remarkable progress, and now, reading has become a natural part of her world.  She eagerly absorbs every word she sees; on road signs, store windows, even TV ads, without realising it.  Even more incredibly, she looks forward to curling up with her favourite book!

The gift that Margot has given her is life changing.  My heart swells with gratitude every time I see how far Bree has come, and I will forever be thankful to Margot for the incredible impact she has had.  She will always be a cherished part of Bree’s story.

Every child should have a Margot.
